A little update from us...

After a great few days away in Wales, today didn't quite go to plan.

Around 50 minutes into the journey home, our campervan suffered a sudden clutch failure on the motorway. Unfortunately, this happened in a live lane on a bend, with no hard shoulder and no crash barriers, creating a very dangerous situation.

Thankfully, I was able to react quickly, make the vehicle as visible as post and get Silvie safely out of the van. Due to the location the police attended very quickly and remained with us until recovery arrived. The van was almost hit on two occasions as was the police vehicle, just by folk not paying attention to the road.
The situation highlighted just how important it is for drivers to stay alert, as several vehicles came dangerously close to both van and attending police vehicles before realising we were stationary.

A huge thank you to the police officers, motorway traffic officers and AA staff and recovery team who helped keep us safe throughout what was a bit of a stressful day.

After a long day involving recovery, a garage in Wales (where the campervan remains, awaiting repairs) arranging a vehicle hire to get us home, we finally arrived home at 5pm

At the moment , we are assessing the situation and and awaiting repairs to the van. If there are changes to our services affected clients will be contacted directly.

Well our camping trip has come to a close and it's time to go home.

While it's been lovely to switch off and enjoy some beautiful scenery, it hasn't all been relaxation! This afternoon was spent applying for various shows and events, as well as filling pages of my notebook with ideas for new products.

One of the things I love most about getting away is the inspiration it brings. Visiting different places, seeing new landscapes and taking a break from the usual routine always seems to spark fresh ideas and creativity.

Myself and Silvie are heading home feeling refreshed, motivated and excited about what's ahead. Now it's time to turn some of those ideas into reality.
