I know that the "bank holiday postage reminder post" isn't that interesting, but hopefully you can enjoy this photo from my recent holiday!

You know the drill, the Royal Mail don't work on Bank Holiday Monday, so that means I cannot dispatch (and you can't receive) orders. Anything ordered after 2:45pm on today (Friday) will be sent out on Tuesday 26th May.

I’m on holiday from April 18th to May 5th.

For the vast majority of orders, you won’t notice any difference at all, everything will still be going out as normal.

My brother Neil will be handling dispatch while I’m away, but a few things will be slightly different:

- Same-day dispatch cut-off times may be earlier than usual since Neil has a job and is also a Mountain Rescue Team Leader, so he can't commit to being in the office all the time.

- No personalised camera strap orders will be processed or sent during this period.

- International orders will be paused due to the extra admin involved which I'm used to handling, but Neil isn't.

- No on will answer the phone, or reply to voicemails. Email/social replies may be slower than usual since I will be several time zones away.

Normal service resumes after May 5th!

What a great review from Donald!

"I am 67 - rapidly approaching 68. I was on the hunt for something suitable for attaching easily to large lenses without any unneceasssary faffing about.

I also wanted a system that would take two bodies if I wanted but that would also work just as well with a single body.

I watched a YouTube video by a real life photographer who had used BlackRapid for years and had then tried Holdfast.

I found Rigu and ordered same day. Not only was the harness sent that day, I received an extremely pleasant email from Andy. This is service as it ought to be!

The harness arrived today. I tried it out with a Lumix S5D and Sigma Sport 70-200 plus Lumix S1RM2 and Sigma Sport 150-600. These lenses are far from light.

This carry system is easily the most effective I have ever tried.

Trust a grumpy old man - you will not find a better system and will not find a better dealer no matter how hard you try!"

A little announcement for a little product.

Lug bumpers are available now, with leather and vegan leather options available in various colours. Well, various shades of brown, and black.

These bumpers go between the strap lug mount on your camera and the metal split ring on a camera strap, providing protection against scratches and paint wear.
