Support Local is about to hit Ammanford! We are days away from launch!
What is it? Support Local is an online marketplace like etsy, but benefits the local suppliers of Ammanford instead. It is focussed on giving small businesses like hairdressers, cafes, restaurants etc. the chance to sell vouchers, products and gifts etc. online while they are closed during the coronavirus outbreak.
As we all know, this is a tough and testing time for everyone, not just business owners, but as a community, we need to pull together and support each other where we possibly can.
By purchasing a gift voucher now to have a coffee and cake in a few weeks time, or ordering those hair straightners you were thinking about from your hairdresser, gives the businesses of Ammanford a way of making some income now and can provide their services at a later date.
This is a very important time for the community of Ammanford to work as one, support your friends.
Please share this post, like our page and tag business owners you think that could benefit from this so we can try and get as much traction as possible. We are looking to get as many local businesses to sign up as possible and upload their items, to make the site a source where we can support our local businesses today and in the future moving forward.
Businesses can sign up for free and can cancel whenever they wish, so there is no risk, just a little time needed to create their account and upload their items.

This idea and platform has been set up locally by a small business in Ammanford to get up and running quickly for businesses to start selling online where they currently can’t due to time, cost, ability etc. So please understand it is work in progress, we will launch the site and continue to work on it and develop the system, and we most happily will accept any ideas anyone has to improve the system and/or customer experience for both sellers and buyers.
