This pitch pine parquet floor in Tycroes Ammanford has been taken back to bare timber, removing the DIY Sanding marks and dirt from years ago revealing its natural honey-gold base with striking grain contrast. The characteristic bold growth rings of pitch pine are now crisp and vibrant. The overall look is much brighter , fresher and now a serviceable floor once again .

Finished with the durable Berger Seidel Greenstar water based finish in a Matt sheen .

Pine 🌲herringbone parquet Flood 💦restoration in this listed period property in Llandovery Carmarthenshire .

From lifting out this pine herringbone parquet floor to be sent away to have the bitumen professionally removed as a burst pipe caused this floor to come loose .
Then using the Adrex DPM 1c to hold damp the damp in the sub floor and Ardex NA self levelling compound to lock in the bitumen residue on the sub floor .

Once the blocks were returned and acclimatised we fitted the parquet blocks back in a herringbone pattern with no boarder as it was laid originally .
Then sanded with our dust free machinery and finished with Fiddes Hardwax Oil in Matt sheen .

Full restoration of this well used solid oak plank in a few rooms and entrance hallway of the ground floor of this lovely family home in Ammanford Carmarthenshire making it serviceable again .
Finished with the fast drying Bona Traffic HD in Matt sheen .
