This week’s Two for Tuesday have been selected by Tara.

The first is the new release from -a beautifully written story of a couple having a secret affair who get the opportunity to live in the City of Impermanence -a place where they can at last live openly as a couple.

The second is Receipts from the Bookshop by .clapham which chronicles a year in the life of a bookseller. Katie is one half of .inc and we can’t wait to read this!

Our next Book Quiz is on Friday 12th June at .

The last two have been brilliant! We have had loads of fun and also raised a lot of money for great causes.

We are delighted to share that the next one will be raising money for

Tickets are £5 per person with teams of up to 4 people allowed.
Bring your own bottle and also cash for donations!

Winners with receive vouchers to spend at the bookshop and there will be other fun games too!

We had such a wonderful time at our annual Women’s Prize Evening last week where staff got to share their pick of the 6 shortlisted novels (see last slide) as well as a few favourites from the long list for fiction.


Thank you so much to everyone who came and helped to make it such a special night 🧡📘

The winner for both the Women’s Prize for Fiction and Non-Fiction will be announced on Thursday 11th June!
