Life problems. Florist solutions. 🌸

We’re problem solvers, really… we just happen to solve most things with flowers. 💐

Bad week? Flowers.
Forgotten a gift? Flowers.
House looking a bit sad? Flowers.
Waiting for someone else to buy you flowers? Absolutely not. 👀

We might be slightly biased, but we’re fairly confident there aren’t many situations that can’t be improved by a beautiful bunch.

Tuesday's PETAL PICK: Helenium 🌼

Say hello to today’s little burst of sunshine – the yellow Helenium 💛

Also rather unfortunately known as “sneezeweed” 👀 – but don’t let the name put you off! It comes from the plant’s historic use in making s***f, rather than these cheerful flowers being particularly sneeze-inducing.

🌼 Flower: Helenium
👀 Also known as: Sneezeweed
🍂 Season: Late summer into autumn
🌻 Known for: Daisy-like petals and distinctive raised centres
💐 We love it for: Bringing a pop of sunshine and a slightly wild, meadowy feel to bouquets

The perfect little flower for that summer-to-autumn transition we’re in right now. 🍂💛

Would this make it into your bouquet?

🌸 One last burst of summer colour…

We might be heading towards autumn, but the flower bench isn’t quite ready to say goodbye to summer yet 🌈💐

These bright beauties feel like a final little firework display of summer colour before the richer, moodier shades of autumn start creeping in. 🍂

And we’re very happy to enjoy them while they last.

Are you ready for autumn, or still holding onto summer? 👀

🌸 PETAL FACT FILE: Pomponi Himalia

Have you spotted these beauties on the flower bench today? 👀

Flower: Gerbera
Variety: Pomponi Himalia
Style: Pompon / double-flowered
Known for: Layers of delicate petals creating that gorgeous full, fluffy appearance
Perfect for: Adding texture, softness and something a little different to a bouquet 💐

We love a classic gerbera, but this variety is rather special 🌸

Would you pick Pomponi Himalia for your bouquet?

🌸 Pretty in pink at The Petal Boutique

A little bit of what’s looking lovely in the shop today… 💕

Beautiful pink carnations alongside delicate spray chrysanthemums – and we thought the carnations deserved a little extra appreciation.

Did you know their botanical name, Dianthus, comes from Greek words commonly interpreted as “flower of the gods”? ✨

And pink carnations are traditionally associated with gratitude and affection – making them a rather lovely choice for a little “thank you” or “thinking of you” bunch 💗

Long-lasting, beautifully ruffled and perhaps a little underrated… we’re definitely on Team Carnation 🌸

What about you?
