Traditional tumble dryers will soon stop being made.

Every new dryer built from January will have to be a heat pump dryer.

Love it or hate it, the energy efficiencies that heat pumps produce consume a huge amount less electricity than a normal vented or condenser dryer.

We know that our friends in Northern Ireland have already gone through this change in legislation and we know the demand for traditional dryers went up 100%.

If you’re considering a dryer purchase, it may be time to step up your search! We have ordered in excess stock to cover demand, however, when they’re gone they are gone.

Used in the correct way, vented and condenser tumble dryers are very effective drying tools, it may be time to start thinking in a slightly different way however…

Heat pumps are the way forward, but, if you’re not ready for the leap yet, it’s time to buy a traditional vented or condenser NOW! Maybe buy a spare…
