Community Appeal – Can You Help? 🦔

A kind member of the public bravely rescued a female hedgehog from the Braid River near our village’s Wildfowl Park today. She is now safe, but there is a concern she may have young hoglets nearby.

If you live near Broughshane Wildfowl Park or the surrounding area, please check your gardens. If you notice a hedgehog nest, a missing mother, or hear repeated high-pitched squeaks (similar to a squeaky dog toy), please contact Debbie at Doolittles Wildlife Rescue urgently on 07724 459881.

These sounds could be distressed hoglets searching for their mum, and they may venture out in daylight in desperation for food.

Please keep an eye out and share this post to help reunite this little family. Thank you. ❤️🦔
