🔒 Buying a Gun Cabinet?

We’ve noticed a lot of very cheap gun cabinets being sold online lately. While they might look like a bargain, many of them do NOT meet the security standard expected by the PSNI.

For firearm certificate holders in Northern Ireland, your cabinet should meet British Standard BS7558/92 and must be securely fixed to the structure of the building (e.g. bolted to a brick wall).

If your cabinet doesn’t meet this standard, it may not be accepted during a PSNI fi****ms inspection, which can cause problems with your application or renewal.

At O’Boyle Guns, the cabinets we supply are built to the proper BS7558 standard, so you can be confident your storage will meet the requirements.

If you’re unsure whether your current cabinet is suitable, send us a message or call into the shop and we’ll happily advise.
