Wow, what a beautiful venue, we’re here on 16/17 May. Before Maxstoke Castle we’re at Sandringham with Living Heritage Craft Shows this bank holiday and then on the 9 May at our local show, Barkway Village Market and on the Sunday 10 May we’re at the South Suffolk Show.

Step inside a Warwickshire castle that is rarely open to the public.

For this weekend only will be opening the gates for a unique experience filled with history, atmosphere, and entertainment for all ages.

We have been working on this event for over a year it’s going to be a fantastic show and we can’t believe it’s finally happening 🙌

We’re at Milton Keynes and the Honduran Rosewood Plank I posted about has manifested itself into some lovely Alpha Fountain Pens which I am making on the stand today. If you can’t get to Middleton Hall in centre MK tomorrow, we’re back in June!!

Well, we’re trading at MK Handmade and Vintage Events in Middleton Hall, Milton Keynes next weekend and I’ve been “attached” to the lathe for the last few weeks making some lovely stock, the latest some high quality ball point pens made from Honduras Rosewood, it’s a lovely wood.

We’ll be trading opposite Tiger Tiger and Nero’s coffee shop in John Lewis Square, better known as Middleton Hall accessed via, amongst others, door 14 of the shopping centre. We’ll be next to Little Sign Studio , Jax of London and shouting distance of Smelly Scents.

The slab of beautiful Honduras Rosewood I posted a couple of weeks ago is a bit smaller, it’s now Atrax fountain pens, a new style of ball point and this pen which is called a one diameter pen - gosh that was innovative wasn’t it! One diameter as both the body and cap are made from a 10mm brass tube. It’s the narrowest fountain that can be made using the wood turning process, the finished diameter being 12mm leaving a veneer of around 1mm on the pen. They will be on the stand at Milton Keynes (Middleton Hall) on the 7th and 8th March MK Handmade and Vintage Events, and then again on 21st and 22nd March Thriplow Daffodil Weekend.
