At Opals Treasures, we are passionate about reducing plastic pollution and finding new ways to use some of the plastic waste that is littering our planet. All of our plastic products are made from 100% recycled plastic. Our friends, families and local communities all collect plastic for us
! Every piece of plastic that comes in is washed, dried and sorted into plastic-type and colour. This is definitely a tedious process. This material is then turned into brand new products. Any waste made during the making process is saved for future makes! Every single product is hand made and uniquely coloured meaning that no two will ever be the same. The primary colour you choose will be mixed with one or more secondary colours to achieve the finished marbled look. If you have any requests/ideas for colour combinations please type these into the note/personalisation box. We will do our very best but this cannot be guaranteed. We have worked hard to source 100% plastic-free packaging and shipping materials. We encourage you to keep and reuse these wherever possible. By buying a product from our recycled plastic, not only are you reducing demand for new plastic, but you are also helping prevent some of over 300 million tonnes of plastic created every year from being sent to landfills or our oceans.
