We’re hoping everyone is feeling better soon, but due to staff illness the Tearoom will be closed tomorrow.

The Garden Centre and Nursery will be open as normal, and our 25 per cent Christmas stock sale continues — all remaining Christmas stock is still up for grabs.

Starting tomorrow, Christmas stock will be reduced by 25%, with plenty of decorations, lights and festive pieces to pick up for next year. There are some great bargains to be had, and it’s well worth a look if you like to be organised early. This is a two week only sale so once it's gone, it's gone. You'll find the Christmas stock bargains in the Christmas Shop above the tearoom and the polytunnel in the garden centre. A big thanks to the team who have been working hard this week to get ready for the sale.

The tearoom is back to normal opening hours tomorrow also (8.30am-4.30pm) with hot food back on the menu. There'll be plenty of tray bakes and savouries also. Call in for those last Christmas meet-ups before it's back to work for everyone on Monday.

The nursery will also be open from 9am-4.30pm tomorrow and is back to these normal opening hours again next week; and every Saturday, during the winter, the nursery will be open from 9-1pm.

We hope everyone has been enjoying a beautiful start to 2026. Goodbye 2025 - here's to new beginnings.

As 2026 begins, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to every single person who has come through our doors over the past year. Whether you called in for a meal, picked up plants, shopped in the Christmas Shop or simply stopped for a chat, your support has meant a great deal to us.

It’s been a year full of familiar faces, new visitors, shared stories and everyday moments which remind us why Black’s matters to the community we serve. We’re very grateful for that, and for the team who work hard behind the scenes to make it all happen.

Our Christmas stock sale starts tomorrow and will run for two weeks, with 25 per cent off Christmas stock only — plenty of bargains to tuck away for next year.

Hot food will be back on the menu from tomorrow, alongside the usual warm welcome in the Tearoom.

From all of us here at Black’s, we wish you a peaceful New Year and a 2026 which brings what you hope for - whatever that may look like. Over and out 2025 - here's to new beginnings.

Get this one in your diary - we are having a two week long 25% sale off our Christmas stock in the Christmas Shop and polytunnel, starting this Friday, January 2.

Christmas stock will be reduced by 25%, with plenty of decorations, lights and festive pieces to pick up for next year. There are some great bargains to be had, and it’s well worth a look if you like to be organised early.

To get ready for the sale, we are closing the Christmas Shop and Garden Centre only, until Friday, so thank you for your patience while the team prepares to open the doors to the sale.

The tearoom continues to be open all week (8.30am-4.30pm) except for New Year's Day of course when it will be closed. We are serving drinks, tray bakes, cakes, savouries and soup this week.

Tomorrow, Wednesday and Friday, the nursery will be open from 9am-4.30pm; it's closed on New Year's Day and on Saturday, it will be open 9-1pm.

After a well-earned Christmas break, the Nursery and Tearoom reopen tomorrow and we’re really looking forward to seeing familiar faces back through the door. We hope you’ve all had a lovely Christmas.

Just to let you know, from Monday to Wednesday the Tearoom will be serving drinks, savouries, bakes and soup only, before we close again for New Year’s Day. It’s a slightly quieter service while the kitchen team ease back in, but there’ll still be plenty to enjoy.

The Nursery will be open as usual, so it’s a good time to call in, stretch the legs, and catch up after the festivities.

Thanks, as always, for your continued support - we appreciate it more than you know, and we’re glad to be welcoming you back.

As we share our Christmas and New Year opening hours, we want to take a moment to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported us throughout 2025. Whether you’ve called in for a meal, picked up plants, found gifts in the Christmas Shop or simply stopped for a chat, we’re very grateful.

This year has been about people - familiar faces from Tullysaran, Drumsallen, Blackwatertown, Benburb, Killylea, Caledon and the surrounding town lands - new visitors from further afield, families growing and friends meeting again. None of it happens without the support of our local community, and we never take that for granted.

We’d also like to say a huge thank you to our teams across the Garden Centre, Tearoom, Christmas Shop and Nursery. A lot of hard work goes on behind the scenes, and it’s their care, effort and dedication which keeps everything running day in, day out.

From all of us here at Black’s, we wish you a safe and happy Christmas, and a 2026 which brings what you hope for - in whatever form that may take.

Nine more sleeps until Christmas........ As we head into the final stretch, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has been calling in to enjoy the Christmas menu and taking the time to pass on such kind feedback about the food and service. It truly means the world to the team.

There’s a lot which goes on behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly, and your words of encouragement make a real difference. Our staff are incredibly grateful for the support and the lovely conversations happening every day in the Tearoom.

We’ll be sharing our Christmas opening hours soon for the Nursery, Tearoom, Garden Centre and Christmas Shop. There are still plenty of chances to come in, sit down with family and friends, enjoy good food, and have a browse through the Christmas Shop and Garden Centre in the days ahead.

The festive cheer in the tearoom this week has been absolutely brilliant so far with groups coming in to celebrate the festive season together.

A huge thank you to everyone for choosing Black's. It's been such a pleasure welcoming you all and it means the world to us that you support local. The team have done an amazing job in the kitchen and front of house so a big thank you to them also.

The Christmas Shop has still lots of treats left - baubles, figures, lights, trees, candles, and so much more so if you are not already fully kitted out, call in this weekend. And, of course the garden centre is full of gifts of nature - perfect for creating that warm festive welcome before anyone walks through your door.

If you are planning to head to Belfast today to go to the Christmas Market - don't. The market will be closed today due to Storm Bram. However, we are open and serving hot food so come on to Black's Garden Centre and Tearoom and get yourself some delicious food from our Christmas Menu, warm yourself by the fire, grab a pot of tea and have a browse of our Christmas Shop above the tearoom.

It's remarkable the amount of lights and decorations which have sold from our shop, and polytunnel, but don't worry, there is a lot left to choose from and at very good prices.

We look forward to welcoming you. Take good care on the roads today. Winds are expected to be higher as the day goes on so please take great care.

And relax...... Saturday mornings were made for a good breakfast at Black’s and a good cup of coffee or pot of tea.

The team is in, the scones are fresh out of the oven and the fire is warming the tearoom nicely. Again, it's been so lovely seeing familiar faces and so many new faces this week.

Today of course, once our breakfast menu finishes, our Christmas Lunch Menu takes over - brimming with the proper favourites you’d expect at this time of year. The Black’s Christmas toastie, the festive loaded fries, warm chicken Caesar, crispy brie salad… all the things which have been getting great feedback this week. Thank you for the lovely messages and comments.

While you’re here, have a wander through the Garden Centre. There’s plenty of colour for pots and window boxes, and the Christmas Shop is a calm and easy browse for anyone gathering gifts or adding a few touches around the house.
