Having both of these ladies trust in us with the dresses of their dreams is an honour that will stay in my heart forever 🤍

House of Hurson was honestly one of the best parts of my whole wedding journey. Both myself and my now wife got our wedding dresses from Helena, and from the very first appointment right through to our wedding day, she was absolutely amazing.
From the moment you walk through the door, Helena has a way of making you feel completely comfortable and at ease. She makes you feel like you’re the only bride in the room and that finding your dress is just as important to her as it is to you. She listens, she understands, and her advice comes from years of experience — something that is so evident in the way she works.
For me personally, Helena went above and beyond. When I had some unexpected difficulties with getting my dress altered, she didn’t just leave me to deal with it. She checked in with me, made sure I was okay, offered advice and ultimately recommended someone who was able to get everything sorted for me. The aftercare and genuine care she showed throughout the whole process meant more to me than she probably realises.
There were things I couldn’t even talk to my family and friends about because I didn’t want to risk giving away the details of my dress, and Helena became the person I could actually open up to about how stressed and worried I was. She was genuinely my rock during that time.
A lot of bridal shops sell you a dress. Helena sells you a whole bridal experience. She was there every step of the way, and I will always be grateful for that.
I couldn’t recommend House of Hurson and Helena highly enough. If you’re looking for your wedding dress, go and see her — you’ll be looked after from the moment you walk through the door until you walk down the aisle. ❤️

Our beautiful Bride Anna said yes to the dress of her dreams ✨ Here is what she said about her experience at House of Hurson Bridal ~

From the minute I contacted Helena about a dress I’d seen on her TikTok I knew I was going to have the best bridal experience with her! She responded right away and whilst she didn’t have that dress in stock anymore she sent me 2 similar styles within my price range. One of which ended up being my dress 🥰 At the appointment we all felt so relaxed and the studio is gorgeous. Helena chatted to me about our wedding day and asked about my partner which felt more personal and genuine. We started off trying a few wild cards just to get the ball rolling and I never felt like Helena was trying to push a sale or push me towards something I wasn’t vibing with. I felt so comfortable the whole time and I’m positive this also helped me say yes to the dress as it was exactly how I envisioned my wedding dress appointment to go. A few tears were shed when I tried on the final dress that ended up being the one and we all enjoyed a prosecco! A totally relaxed dreamy afternoon and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend House of Hurson and Helena to anyone and 110% worth the wee drive from Belfast for this experience 🤍🥂

Things my brides said about me… and how I felt about them 🤍

I spend so much of my time talking about the dresses — the designers, the details, the fabrics, the fittings, the “THIS is the one!” moments.

But sometimes I think the most special part of being a bridal shop owner is everything that happens around the dress.

The nervous bride who walks through my door and leaves feeling like herself again.

The mum who quietly holds her daughter’s hand through the whole appointment.

The bride who trusts me enough to try something she never imagined herself wearing.

The conversations, the laughs, the tears, the stories and the little moments I know I’ll remember long after the dress has left the studio.

Reading these words from my brides honestly made me realise just how lucky I am to do what I do.

Because whilst you might come to me looking for your wedding dress, I hope you leave feeling like you’ve been seen, celebrated and completely looked after

Thank you to every bride who has trusted me with such a special part of her journey. I’ll never take it for granted. x

I visited House of Hurson recently after finding them through their website, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better bridal shopping experience.

From the moment we arrived, Helena, the owner, was absolutely lovely. She made us all feel so welcome and was incredibly warm, friendly and accommodating throughout the appointment. I never felt rushed or pressured in any way, and she gave me plenty of time to try different styles, talk things through and really take in how I felt in each dress.

Helena made me feel completely at ease and genuinely listened to what I wanted, while also offering helpful advice without ever being pushy. It felt like such a personal and relaxed experience, which made the whole process even more special.

And, of course, I said yes to the dress 🤍👰‍♀️

I’m so glad I chose House of Hurson and would wholeheartedly recommend them to any bride-to-be looking for a beautiful selection, a lovely atmosphere and, most importantly, someone who genuinely cares about making you feel amazing. I had a particular dress in mind and couldn’t find anywhere with a sample in NI. I contacted Helena who stocks the brand and within one week she had a sample brought in for me! Helena goes above and beyond in every way possible. From the moment we met I felt like I’d known her for a lifetime! Trying on the dresses was the most emotional time for me and Helena really made it so relaxing and easy.Highly recommend House of Hurson for your dream dress!
