I’ve settled them into their new home now, and they’re already eating and tunnelling away. It’s fascinating watching them work together, each one carrying wee grains of sand and shifting them out of the way as they dig deeper 💪. I only have a few ant tunnels left in stock but still have the bug land, living twig and butterfly kit. I have done them all between last year and this and my daughter (aged 4) declared the butterfly kit as her favourite whereas my son (aged 10) loves the Ant Hill.

We are open this Monday as usual… Back in stock is our seed bomb & book bundles. Each book is filled with a magical tale of the seeds contained in your seed bomb. Memorial characters will explain what flowers will grow and the animals & insects the flowers will attract & help. A perfect project for you and your little gardeners to share this bank holiday weekend & the magic & excitement will last all summer, with each flower making their appearance.

We always love welcoming our customers, but today’s visitors were extra special. Uwe and his partner arrived all the way from Germany and the Netherlands on the most gorgeous vintage Ural motorcycle and sidecar—what a sight!

They tucked into a lovely brunch in Primrose Coffee House, followed by a wee wander around Shabby Ducks. Meanwhile, we tried (and failed) not to completely fall in love with their incredible transport…

This time last year we had a few new employees join Shabby Duck Gifts. It was amazing to watch the wee eggs hatch and watching our wee twigs grow into strong stick insects. Living twig kits by insect lore are in stock 🥰.
