I have bought some crazy things in my time, but this is definitely up there with them…including the Border Terrier puppy!!!

An Alwin trade mark convalescent / invalid chair, believed to date from around the WWI period. A wonderful, slightly mad bit of medical / social history, and all the character you’d hope for.

It weighs an absolute ton, so this one is collection only — I certainly won’t be posting it!

Can be brought along to a show if anyone is seriously interested. Drop me a message for details.

If you’re ever in Valletta, Malta, the Lascaris War Rooms are an absolute must-visit.

What a fantastic museum — packed with history and some of the most incredible collections we’ve ever seen. From wartime uniforms and equipment to weapons, artefacts, displays, and the underground war rooms themselves, it is all brilliantly presented and well worth taking the time to explore.

A truly fascinating place and a real highlight of our visit to Malta. Highly recommended!

Packing up for Stoneleigh this weekend and thought we’d share a few highlights of the RAF kit we’ll have with us.

Expect to see:
✔️ Ventile smock
✔️ WWII Aircrew battledress blouse
✔️ “Frankenstein” Mae West
✔️ Scarce wartime survival suit (not something that turns up often)

All original pieces, and always happy to talk details with fellow collectors. Hope to see some of you there!
