Obviously I had to jump on this trend - and my sister is a true doll for doing it for me as I am still a Chat GPT novice! As I kid I had a ‘walking talking Kelly Doll’ that was both my dream toy and the doll of nightmares, so here I am as my very own ‘Kelly Doll’.
And after my recent absence it makes for a perfect opportunity for a little reintroduction- Hi, I’m Kelly. I’m the owner and illustrator behind Poppins & Co. A lover of all things paper, from crafting, painting and drawing, to writing, reading and weaving- the only thing I haven’t tried is quilling which is on the list for this year. You’ll often find me with my head in an epic fantasy book, with a mug full of tea (or chai latte), taking photos of something seemingly mundane to capture a secretly beautiful moment, or exploring the great outdoors with my dreamy husband and mind bogglingly brilliant 4 year old. I’m a rustic maximalist that has far too many belongings and a penchant repurposing anything I can to avoid throwing stuff out.
We live on a beautiful farm in the Peak District where I also have a small studio from which I run Poppins & Co. 💛
