This weekend in Ashbourne is Street Festival weekend. As well as the boss being fully involved in all aspects of the festival, Equatorial has been involved with JAMHAUS Ashbourne organising local bands who will be playing in Victoria Square outside the shop. Line up is 12pm Grace And Albie (acoustic covers) 1pm The Jamband (60s 80s rock) 2pm State of Mind (indie) 3pm 5 Hills Out (folk rock). Come and enjoy the festival and pop in to say hello and maybe walk out with some pucker clobber!

Guaranteed thrills, spills, laughs and general mayhem outdoors. Watch out for a special seaside theme - whatever the weather!

This wekend is the ASHBOURNE ART TRAIL and Equatorial is hosting a fantastic creative artist treehuggery as part of the event

Our back room downstairs will be a showcase for all of her work and you wll have an opportunity to buy artwork direct with 100% of the money going to the artist. Our doors will be open to anyone and everyone free of charge but most of the artists on the trail will be in indoor venues around town which you will need to show your wristband to enter. You will be able to buy tickets across the Square from us at Handmade Design. The event runs Saturday and Sunday from 10.30 to 4pm.

What to Expect: Over 100 regional artists and makers displaying works—including paintings, ceramics, and photography
Activities: Live music, street food, artist demonstrations, and creative workshops.
Ticketing: A £5 weekend wristband grants access to all venues, and includes a printed map (under-12s are free).
Times: Saturday from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm, and Sunday from 10:30 am to 3:30 pm.

CUBAFROBEAT at the Ashbourne Festival - an 8 piece band where Cuba mixes with West Africa. Sambroso Sambroso the Cuban extravaganza link up with Dele Sosimi - an original member of Fela Kuti's band. It's bank holiday weekend and we are crammed to the rafters with funky feel good summer stock and chilly nights Jackets and Ponchos. Both shops open all weekend including Bank Holiday Monday and Matlock Bath will be open Friday and Saturday until 7pm so come on down. Full opening hours here
