A little update from Metal Manipulation… ⚒️

I’ve been meaning to write this post for some time, but with a busy diary and never enough hours in the day, it’s stayed firmly on my to-do list!

This year has taken Metal Manipulation in a slightly different direction. We’ve been incredibly fortunate to be overwhelmed with larger commissions and bespoke projects, which have taken up a huge amount of our time in the workshop, as well as fitting and installing pieces on site.

Because of this, we’ve done fewer shows than usual. We travelled a little further afield and loved showcasing our handmade work to a wider audience. Unfortunately, I also had to withdraw from an event I was really looking forward to, simply because there wasn’t enough time to do everything while fulfilling our existing commissions and bespoke projects.

The shows we did attend were fantastic as always, and we loved every minute of them!

As many of you know, I’m also the man behind The Artisan Show, which has grown far beyond anything I could ever have imagined and has taken up a lot of my time too.

It’s amazing to think this all started as a hobby making lamps in my spare time, and has now grown into two successful businesses. Wow! 🤯

And I couldn’t have done any of this without my wife, Becky. ❤️ She helped me build Metal Manipulation from the very beginning, spent many years working alongside me in the workshop and now works full-time behind the scenes, keeping everything running smoothly. I genuinely couldn’t have done it without her.

A huge thank you to all our customers, old and new. Your support has made this journey possible.

Yesterday we arrived in Skipton to set up for Art in the Pen, and we’re so excited to be back! 🎨

This year is extra special as celebrates its 20th anniversary 🥳

It was a hot one setting up yesterday, but there’s something pretty awesome about watching the cattle pens transform into an amazing display of creativity.

With over 200 artists taking part this year, it’s going to be a good one!

What a fantastic first day we had at Art in the Park in Royal Leamington Spa yesterday! 🎨🌿

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to see me and support our work. 😀 I was delighted to see so many of our garden art pieces find new homes and head off to brighten up some lovely gardens around Leamington and beyond. 🌸✨

🔥 The workshop has been absolutely non-stop this week! We’ve been getting in early to tackle the welding before the tropical heat really kicks in, making sure everything is ready for an incredible weekend.

We’ve updated our Welding Experiences page with important information about booking your experience. If you’re holding a voucher, please take a few minutes to read the page and get in touch to arrange your booking before the end of the year.

Due to the incredible demand and the number of vouchers already sold, we’re currently unable to accept any new Welding Experience bookings. We’ll reopen bookings as soon as availability allows, and we’ll announce this across our website and social media.
