And while we’ve got you... we’re open Bank Holiday Monday too!

We’ll be open our usual hours, 11am – 4pm, so if you’ve got a bit of extra time off, come and spend it with us. Browse the full range in person, have a proper sniff of everything, and treat yourself to something new for the home. Sometimes the best Bank Holiday plan is a slow one.

Time to check in on your candles 🕯️

If your candles or wax melts have been sat in a warm room (or worse, a sunny windowsill) all summer, it’s worth a little check-up:

🔥 Wick needs a trim? For the best results the wick should be 2-3mm before you next light it
🌡️ Gone a bit soft or sweaty-looking? Totally normal in the heat, just let it firm back up somewhere cool
🕯️ Wax melts looking a bit sad and slumped? Pop them back in the fridge for 10 minutes and they’ll behave again

Basically a little TLC and they’ll be back to their best in no time.

Ever wondered what actually goes on behind the scenes?

Every single candle and wax melt is hand-poured right here in the studio at the Ferrers Centre. From measuring and melting the wax to weighing out fragrance and getting each pour just right, it’s a slower process than you’d think, but that’s exactly the point.

There’s something quite special about working in a space surrounded by other makers and craftspeople, all doing things the traditional way. It’s easy to forget in a world of next-day everything that some things are still worth taking your time over.

So next time you light one of ours, know that a real pair of hands made it.
