We sell clothes, jewellery, beautiful gifts and hand made cards as well as some food items, all of which are fairly traded. The producers of our products get a living wage, decent working conditions, no child labour is used and materials are used from renewable sources or recycled.

The rugs and throws in fair2all’s window are some of the fair trade products made from recycled plastic bottles (having been converted into PET).

Not only are they hard wearing, they are also hypoallergenic and surprisingly soft.

Add to the eco-friendly rugs and throws a reusable spring themed bag and you’ve made a choice that’s sustainable and loves to care for the environment.

Something bright from fair2all? Shades of orange to brighten your day and reflect the sunshine? As the Spring approaches, most of Nomads clothes are half original price, but the quality is not reduced. As a fair trade we always ensure that the producers were paid half the cost when the order was placed and the balance is paid when it’s ready to be shipped. Open today (Friday) 10 – 1

Sunshine yesterday afternoon took us into Calke Park for a walk.

The snowdrops have appeared since we last walked there and the Great T**s were singing hard to defend their territories – Spring is really coming soon.

Note to self – Don’t forget to wear a pair of fair2all’s leggings under trousers to add some warmth while it’s so cold.

They are comfy with a flat, deep waistband and made of organic cotton, grown using methods that replenish and maintain soil fertility and without harmful chemicals, which is not only better for the environment, but also for the cotton growers.

Suggestions for useful fair trade gifts from fair2all; a Leather Cable Tidy – small, useful and only £5.

Second suggestion is a belt - made from recycled bicycle inner tube, it’s strong, long lasting, suitable for vegans and it’s been part of providing training to tailors in Malawi.

The hand knitted wristwarmers are great if your hands get cold working on a computer, doing up buttons or sorting out keys.

The lovely Bird of Paradise Velvet Quilt is one of fair2all’s most admired fair trade products.

Together with the armchair and floor cushion they are stunning pieces so I decided to feature it in the window.

When I was finding other products to display with them I was surprised that the aqua in the pattern co-ordinates well with the rectangular and circular incense holder range.
