Crazily, it’s that time of year!

Heads up, I’ll be having my August week off like the last two years but this year, it’s the FIRST week in August.

I’ll do a poster for the window and be sure to start mentioning it in person but if I pop it here that’s always good too!

I hate letting people down. The thought of you rocking up to find a closed shop when you’re on your way to somewhere for example, when you normally can rely on TB kills me so I hope lots of you see this!

So I’ll shut shop Saturday 1 August and be back on Tuesday 11 August! It will be over in a flash ha!

I’ll pop this on the website too!

Then it will be all systems go till the end of the year!

2026 feels like the fastest year of my life!

I got to work super early yesterday to get NEW candle brand Simon James Home | Award-Winning Candles & Home Fragrance on the shelves!

I’ve been working with Simon for the last three months to get everything just so for Ticketyboo! He has been an absolute pleasure to work with.

Especially for TB, he has exclusively made us the smaller size candle!

So, we continue with two sizes, six scents (five of which will be new to TB customers) and Reed Diffusers!

Rose, Geranium & Green Leaves is proving a top favourite and it’s only Day 2!

A Brucie Bonus is they are made up the road close to Wye!

A post take over from the boss of TB, aka my amazing Mum:-

“The fourth Wye bi annual Art Show will be held at Wye Church 26-28 June! Next weekend!

The show specifically features Kent artists many of whom are notable professionals who will be exhibiting paintings sculpture, photography and ceramics.

The artists will be donating 30% of the sale of their works to the running of Wye Church.

We are very grateful to all our sponsors for their support including The Kings Head, The Tickled Trout, Wye Dental and Canterbury Auctions our principal sponsors. All of which are tagged!

Unfortunately whilst we love dogs they cannot be allowed into the show to avoid accidents.

Of course they will be welcome to wait outside with a handler.

We are sure you will enjoy the show!”

A lovely surprise from Mum, a new TB themed planter, pink dahlia and geraniums!

Had a quick count up of products in the right hand window and sitting just there are 16 UK small businesses!

Every purchase at TB ripples far and wide and I love that!

All hours as usual!

Stock will be rolling in this week, not much sits still here thanks to you!

Dress like your shop day! 😆🌈

I stopped time this afternoon, and took these photos of TB in the sun!

I have to remind myself of the quote ‘Comparison is the Thief of Joy’ (one I have had pinned to my office wall since the start!).

I’ve been flat out in a REALLY lovely way since 2026 started, and I don’t always get time to fill up these social media squares.

Something I worry about but if you walk by TB often you will know what a busy little shop it can be!

It’s a real shop, with real things going on.

I’m part of an AMAZING community, something a visitor I got chatting to, observed today. She said you might not have your own children but you have a whole village! How lovely is THAT?! 🙌🏻

All the waves, I’m so lucky to be part of so much!

On I could go, but rest assured these little squares might sometimes be quiet but behind the scenes there’s a lot going on!!

Foot always on the gas, whilst trying hard to maintain some sort of work life balance too!
