Emporia Fabric & Patterns Emporia is an online fabric and indie pattern company based in Ashford, Kent Or there is always the old fashioned way, by visiting us in person at the shop.

Emporia is the only shop of its kind in Ashford, Kent, selling beautiful fabrics, a selection of Brother sewing machines, and our own patterns. You can find us slap, bang right in middle of the town centre at Park Mall Shopping Centre, Ashford, Kent, TN24 8RY. Our current opening hours are: 10am - 4pm Thursday and Saturday, but do keep your eyes and ears peeled for changes over the year. Any chang

Happy Saturday sewing peeps! If you're in need of a little sewing inspo this weekend, you can check out Stuart Hilliard and Rebecca Harrison making up some of our patterns on tomorrow morning from 9am.

They'll be kicking things off with our fabulous Penelope pattern first at 9am, followed up with the Alice trousers at 11am.

Our Zoe and Penelope patterns are now available as downloadable PDFs! Both patterns have the layers function which means you can print out just the sizes you want, an if you are grading between two or more sizes, this makes your life much easier. Zoe fans will be especially pleased as this means you don’t have to print out all the pleat markings, so you don’t have to squint quite so hard to find the lines you are looking for.

🌺 SPRING SEWCIAL PARTY ANNOUNCEMENT! 🌺

We are very excited to announce that we will be hosting a Spring Sewcial Party at Coachworks this May!

After having a bit of a wobbly start to the year, we want to celebrate with the whole of Team Emporia (that's you guys!!) that we are still here and still going, so given how much fun we all had at the Christmas party, we're doing it again!

The Spring Sewcial will take place on Saturday 3rd May at our very own Coachworks, and you can expect more fun, silliness, music, dancing and sewing inspired brilliance from us, and our special guest Tony!

Early bird tickets are now on sale at £25.00 - but hurry, as there are only a limited amount - after they have sold out standard tickets will be on sale at £30.00. So get in quick!

Tony and our collab shirt pattern are doing the rounds, and he's hosting workshops at quite a few venues, including our very own Coachworks.

You can join us for the day on Friday 2nd May here at our lovely home and make your very own Tony shirt for yourself or a loved one. 👔

✂️🪡🧵👔 MAKE A TONY WITH TONY! 👔🧵🪡✂️

We are super super excited to announce that Tony will joining us next year to teach our very first Tony Shirt making class!

Join Tony in 2025 as he teaches you how to make your very own Tony shirt for you or a loved one. Our super simple design is perfect for confident beginners or those who have never sewn a men's garment before.

Get to grips with the Cuban collar, the buttoned front, and inserting sleeves, and if you're feeling fancy why not pop on some patch pockets and cuffs!

The class will take place on Friday 2nd May 2025 in our Coachworks space, and booking is now open on the website. We can't wait to welcome you to our first sewing class in our new home!
