Today marks a very special milestone for Marty – the man who opened a little cobbler shop in the heart of Ashington, Northumberland, 40 years ago.

What started as a one-man shoe repair shop in a proud mining town has grown into a successful independent family-run business offering so much more:

For four decades, Marty and his family have worked hard to keep the community moving – from keeping your favourite boots alive to helping with those “lost keys” emergencies!
