These are another go to of mine to keep me on a level and stop me worrying about life… I either do it first thing before my day starts or last thing before bed but quiet, calm and I shuffle them and choose a card face down that I feel most drawn to. If it’s morning I won’t read the meaning until night time and then compare my day to the meaning of the card I pulled and it does correlate almost perfectly which gives me reassurance and if I pull the card at night time I read the meaning straight away and do the same comparison.

It’s a good way of learning to understand the cards and use your own instincts and interpretations and then checking to see if your in tune with your cards and once you’ve mastered that you will trust them and your own instincts more and feel a sort of invisible guide preparing you. I really enjoy it, makes me feel connected to something deeper like I’m switched on.

Needed a day for the soul today so I went foraging and got myself some cleavers to help with my swollen glands, some wild garlic just because it’s rude not too when it’s in abundance.

I came home and strained my pine oil that’s been steeping in my witchy cupboard since new year.

And I cut off my bulging aloe Vera and extracted the gel.

I’m a firm believer that there’s a plant for every problem in life and I love learning and researching herbal medicines and the health benefits of plants

These have been round for centuries and I’m obsessed with the idea of going back to basics and our roots..

I was born in the wrong era, I’d have loved to have been a Victorian botanical apothecarist ❤️🌱

Spring is the best time to forage all these ancient treasures especially in woods and forests but please do your own research and use your own due diligence in identifying plants and read up on foraging laws before you start picking….

My soul is happy now and so will my skin & swollen glands be tomorrow 🫶
