A beautiful and practical welly boot storage stand custom made to suit any number of muddy wellies.

Our welly boot stands are handcrafted from solid oak making them long lasting and sturdy. The uprights can be full length or half length depending on whether you have little wellies in your family.

The stands are finished with hard wearing exterior oil to allow you to store your boots inside or out, but always best under cover.

They can be blank or can be personalised with your choice of words or lettering on the side edges on the top of the base.

Delivery:
We would rather hand deliver if local but if we ship, we will flat pack the stand ready for a simple and quick assembly at your house.

This beautiful handcrafted butcher's block chopping board is hand made to order in our Cheshire workshop to any size and in a number of wood variations: using oak, ash, maple, beech, American black walnut, walnut and other mixed woods. Every board is totally unique, the ones pictured are ones I've made in the past.

While being hardwearing and tough, butchers block boards are also a striking kitchen centrepiece and fabulous as serving boards as well as for hot casseroles straight from the oven.

A fabulous gift for a budding chef or foodie family, or a little treat for yourself.

Why choose a butcher’s block board?

The fibres of the end grain of wood absorb the impact of a knife better than the face grain which will show up scratched from first use. This is because when your knife cuts down on an end grain chopping board it passes between the fibres of the wooden chopping board, the fibres then close up again once the blade is removed. The benefit of end grain boards over time is that the knife edge stays sharper and thus requires less frequent sharpening. Additionally, the end grain board is subject to less damage by your knife. To create an end grain cutting board (butcher's block) the wood is prepared, cut and glued and then re-cut and glued into strips, so the process overall is very labour intensive. But totally worth it - it’s not difficult to see why these chopping boards are the number one choice for professionals.

Care
As with all wood products, if cared for properly they will last. A wipe with olive oil every now and then will add a lovely sheen. Keep away from the dishwasher and don’t soak – just a wash down with some hot soapy water will do.
