Any local businesses that would like to sponsor a race for charity, please get in touch.

The ploughman’s Bar at Andrewshayes Holiday Park is holding a charity race night on the 8th July.
We are looking for local businesses to sponsor a race, for £30. In exchange we will advertise your business throughout the night and on posters. We have lots of holidaymakers and regular guests that could potentially discover you.
If you are interested in advertisering, whilst also knowing that your money will help a fantastic charity. Papyrus, prevention of young su***de then please message Lynda Francis or Amanda Jane.

This melts my heart!
Well done to Operation Rudolph Honiton. They even deliver in the Honiton area on Christmas Day if you aren’t physically able to leave your home.
So many good people out there.

On Christmas Day, volunteers from Operation Rudolph Honiton will be providing a free Christmas Lunch in the Mackarness Hall. The meal is open to anyone who wants to join in with this amazing community get together for a day full of good food, laughter and Christmas cheer.

Transport can be provided to and from the hall if needed, which is being supported by TRIP Transport Honiton

And that’s a wrap!

We are officially clocking off for Christmas. We’ve had a great first year and would like to thank the small businesses that signed up to our discount card, holiday accommodations that purchased our welcome hampers and then those that have been ordering Christmas gifts for friends and family.

A huge thank you to for all of their fantastic business advice, and for just about everything else, and for believing in this amazing venture!

The post and stories I’ve seen with messages some small businesses have revived are angering 😡

Please but yourself in their shoes! They are just as frustrated as you that your parcel hasn’t arrived!

Be patient - I’d it doesn’t turn up in time they can make a claim and you’ll get a refund. If it is a gift I’m sure the recipient will understand just explain to them them it will be with the wait!

It’s great to see that our Devon Boxes have been a great present, to say thank you for training up new NHS 111 call handlers.

A new group of NHS 111 call handlers passed their comprehensive training course and exams in Taunton this week before joining their new colleagues in the call centre. Trainers Suzy and Paul were touched by their thoughtful present as a Thank You for their support during their NHS Pathways training. “This ‘Devon Box’ is just such a wonderful gesture and really heart warming.’” Congratulations to everyone and good luck in your new careers!
