💛 More than just Mum…

For a long time, my world became all about being Mum.

And don’t get me wrong… I LOVE being Mum. ❤️

It’s one of the biggest and most important parts of who I am.
But somewhere along the way, I think I forgot that I was also Stacey.

A teacher.
A creative.
A businesswoman.
A mentor.
Someone with ideas, dreams and ambitions of her own.

When I started my little bookshop, I honestly thought I was just signing up to sell some children’s books and earn a bit of extra money around my family.
I didn’t realise I was signing up for so much more.

📚 I’ve grown in confidence.
✨ I’ve discovered things I didn’t know I was capable of.
💬 I’ve met some incredible people.
🌱 I’ve learnt new skills.
💛 I’ve built something that is mine.
🙌 And I’ve found a version of myself that had been a little lost amongst the nappies, school runs and endless demands of motherhood.

That’s what this opportunity has given me.

Not just an income.
Not just a bookshop.
But confidence, purpose, friendships, personal growth and a little piece of me again.

And perhaps that’s why this photo means more to me than it looks like it does.
Because sometimes we don’t need to become a completely different person…

We just need the opportunity to remember who we are beyond being Mum. ❤️
