The Alcove We are a small but select shop based in Bakewell selling a variety of items. The Alcove is based in Bakewell town in the peak district.

We provide a range of handmade items and gifts to suit all occassions and budgets. Each of our collections is picked by myself. Our aim is to provide you with a select range of products that are not just your usual "seen on the highstreet item". Any questions about our products please feel free to ask xx

It is with great regrets that due to personal circumstances as from the 31st July 2016 The Alcove will cease to trade from wye house bakewell. However we will be out and about locally at fairs , fetes , markets etc and we will still keep our page so you can see where we will be. A BIG THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HAS SUPPORTED US OVER THE LAST 4Yrs in whatever way.

Hi to all my Facebook followers 🙋 did you know that Facebook limits Business posts popping up on your Facebook newsfeed unless I pay Facebook money 😕. Apparently Facebook likes a bit of Facebook advertising on Facebook and the more times a Facebook post says Facebook in it, the more Facebook will let it pop up on your Facebook feed 😝 thought I'd give it a try so how many of you facebookers can see this Facebook post on your Facebook feed?
