Introducing the New Waka Skuxx!

The Tryweryn is running this Saturday, March 22nd, and Sunday, March 23rd!
Come down for a demo, or pre-order yours today! Waka Kayaks have done it again with another fantastic design. The demo boat is available now, and the first boats are expected to arrive at Radical Rider on March 27th.

First Impressions:
Jiri Tykal – So goooood! While it shares the same design language, the Skuxx is a whole different beast compared to the Steeze. The rails are sharp, it’s incredibly nimble, and it’s an absolute blast on the wave. It makes even the easier rivers feel so much more fun! It will suit a wide range of paddlers from around 50kg and up.
Ryan Michael Page – That’s one hell of a sexy surfing machine!
Matt Stephenson – What a fun boat to paddle! Great on the surf, awesome for stern stalls! I can’t wait to take it on steeper rivers with more juice.
James Harding – Yeeeeaaaa, it’s goooood, man! :D

FIRST TWO DELIVERY RUNS OF 2025!

Jiri and Ryan are heading out on the road on Monday and Tuesday, 13th/14th January, to deliver boats across the UK, from Southampton to Aberdeen. If you're thinking about buying a boat, check out the map below to see if we’re passing near you. Not quite on our route? No problem—we still may be able to add more stops!
Is next week too soon? Don't worry, we deliver to Scotland at least once a month and organise deliveries to England and Wales as often as we can spare Ryan (please take him away from us).

Pinkston Water Sports Centre - Demo Evening
Join Jiri at Pinkston Water Sports Centre for the Park&Play event on Monday, 13th at 6:30pm. Come try out our demo boats from Waka, DragoRossi, Pyranha, Dagger, Liquidlogic, and many other brands.
If there’s a specific boat you’d like Jiri to bring to Glasgow, please get in touch! Need a new drysuit or anything else? Let us know and Jiri will take it for you.

A big thank you to all our amazing customers for your continued support – we can’t wait to see you on the water in 2025!

To kick off the new year, we’re excited to announce the first confirmed release on the Tryweryn on Friday, 3rd January, followed by another release on Saturday, 4th January.

Jiri and Matt have already opened the shop today, and the rest of the team will be joining next week. We’ve already sorted the majority of orders and inquiries, with the rest to be handled tomorrow.

Radical Rider’s Supreme Leader Jiri Tykal testing the Pyranha ReactR

At Radical Rider we always test all the kayaks when we are adding them to our 60+ boats demo fleet. Well, the long awaited Pyranha Kayaks ReactR M is here and we had to try it. First thoughts about the design and new outfitting are in comments.
Demo boat is now available at Radical Rider Kayak Shop.
The Large is coming in a couple of weeks and the small will follow shortly after.

We would like to thank everyone who has pre-ordered their Pyranha React-R. If you’d like to place a pre-order, give us a ring, email us or speak to Jiri, Ryan or Matt at the shop. Pre-orders will be delivered swiftly as soon as the boats are manufactured, we are currently collecting from Pyranha twice a week on average. We’d be thrilled to deliver your ReactR in person and of course collection from Tryweryn/Bala is always available.

Sadly, this weekend we will not have a release on the Tryweryn, but we are thinking of meeting for an informal float down the river Dee on Saturday (27th April) – please let us know in the comments if you’d be interested to join!

The Pyranha Kayaks Scorch has officially arrived at Radical Rider! 🔥
Take a first look at the Large Scorch in Mojito colourline and see how it compares to the 9RII M and 9R2 L. It seems that size-wise the Scorch L sits nicely between the two, which is exactly what we were hoping for. We also like the full-size grab handles behind the cockpit.
It's great to finally have a Pyranha riverrunner/creekboat with proper rails! 🆒 It's clear to see the inspiration from the Burn, Ripper and 9R, but also the Waka OG, all blended together in this new design. We're super excited to get this on some proper whitewater to test it out. Expect a review from Jiri Tykal soon! 😎

We are finally able to share the news with you!
Introducing the Waka Wee GOAT and Billy GOAT.
These 2 boats truly have a chance to become the Greatest Of All Time!

The Waka Steeze has been one of our most popular models, but for many of you who don't eat enough cake it is simply too big. Say no more! The Wee GOAT is here! Being narrower, slicier and slightly shorter with less volume - this boat is going to be an absolute machine!

The Billy GOAT fills the niche between the Stout and OG. Longer but significantly narrower, this creeker will suit all those who found the OG too big. This could be an exciting replacement for the Tuna 2.0 which has been with us since 2016. Being 3 cm narrower than the Tuna, we expect this boat to fit those who are of a smaller / average build, or just prefer smaller and narrower designs.
We are expecting Gangsta speed in a more compact package, fun rocker and edges, but also confidence inspiring stability and whitewater crushing ability resembling the OG.
