🎣🏆Fish Of The Month 🏆🎣

Good Morning Everyone,

What a great way to start the weekend in a sunny ballachulish.😄☀️

We are Delighted to announce that young local angler Dylan from Kinlochleven is the winner of our first Fish Of The Month giveaway for August with his PB Pollack with 38 likes. The joy on the wee mans face is what it’s all about.😄🙌🏻

It’s been great to hear of Dylan enjoying a few sessions with his brother, sister and dad Paul as he starts his sea fishing journey in the local area. We love seeing youngsters getting into the sport and catching fish. Hearing of the excitement on this particular session was just what the WHA Team like to hear.

Dad, Lads and sister out making memories. Even better seeing our tackle helping Dylan catch his prized fish.

Morning All,

Sadly our original post yesterday was taken down of the page for breaching community rules which we find bizarre🤦🏻‍♂️

So we will try again.

Sincere apologies but this one is out of our control.

There was a clear runaway leader before the post was taken down and when we last saw the post young Dylan was in the lead with 46likes. If no other pictures get near this number of likes I hope we all agree that he will be the winner but there’s a week to go.

Good Morning Everyone,

It was a great July for our local sponsored angler Martin who has been fishing around Argyll and Lochaber.

We’d all be delighted with a Double figure Thornback but Martin eclipsed that with an amazing double shot on a 2 hook flapper which resulted in a 11lb Thornback and a nice Little Ling. 👏🏻

The Double Figure Rays just kept coming and a 14lb Thornback followed on a recent session. A truly amazing catch for this area.🤩

Spurdog season is well under way and Martin has managed a few cracking Specimens up to 16lb. On a recent session, which turned out to be one of his best spur sessions to date he had over 25 Spurs with the majority being all double figure fish. A fantastic session by anyone’s standards.

A massive well done Martin, some great catches there and some top angling.👏🏻

Hey Everyone,

We hope you’re all well and had a great weekend.

Refreshed and recharged, we’re back for what’s looking to be a very busy week in our Ballachulish workshop.

It was delivery day today and we’ve not long finished unpacking squid and hooks.

We had ran out of our 1lb Calamari boxes last week so we were glad to see a big delivery of them arrive today. 😄

We also got more stock in of the bulk 100 packs of Sakuma Manta Pro and Manta Extra Hooks. 3/0-5/0 Manta Pro’s & 6/0-10/0 Manta Extra’s Proving a popular choice recently among some of our customers who are out specimen hunting.

💣Cod Bomb Production Starting💣

Good Morning All,

This week has seen us receive our first Cart delivery of the year and that can only mean one thing…..

They’re Back.

Last year we developed the Cod Bomb and what a hit it was with anglers during the winter Cod Season.

Our customers loved them and our own WHA guys had one of the best Cod Seasons in a long time while using the Cod Bombs as the primary bait.

As with all new products we tweaked the ingredients and the production process a few times until we felt we had created the perfect Cod bait. The baits look full, cylindrical and streamlined and with a mix of our secret ingredients we’re sure you’re going to love them even more this year.🤩

We were delighted when we cracked the production method and the only change we are making this year is that they will be a little bit bigger.

So, needless to say we are starting production of the Cod Bombs this week in preparation for October.

We sold over 1200 packs last year which was amazing and we look forward to supplying you with a product we’re proud to have developed.

Please remember to keep this bait frozen during your sessions.

As we did last year, we will be doing weekly delivery runs around the country for Cod Season. There will be 3 separate runs and it will be an alternate run each week but with the aim of taking in some East Coast destinations each week.

The runs will be:

Glasgow, Edinburgh & Fife

Perth, Arbroath & Aberdeen

Inverness, Moray Coast & Aberdeen (orders depending we can finish this run in arbroath).

Only a couple of months to go until our favourite time of year and we’re really looking forward to seeing some of our East Coast Customers again.😄
