New commission reveal 🎨❤️

With permission from my lovely customer, I can finally share my latest commission 🫪

A chance encounter at the Lammas Fair turned into an A4 watercolour commission of the beautiful view through Mussenden Temple towards Downhill Strand. Inspiration taken from Colin Whitman Photography and his beautiful capture of this window.

I'll admit, the imposter syndrome was VERY real taking this one on 😂 but around six hours and approximately 700 million individually painted bricks later… I'm actually really bloody proud of it.

The original is now professionally mounted and ready for its new home. ❤️

Maybe I need to get a little more comfortable calling myself an artist after all. 🎨

Right folks, I need to borrow your collective knowledge 👀

I’m looking for local stockists for FAFO Art Studio and I need your help finding them.

I’m looking for independent gift shops, cafés, galleries, visitor attractions, garden centres, quirky wee shops — basically anywhere you can picture my stuff sitting and think “aye, that would fit in there.”

FAFO currently includes my Norn Iron coasters, original artwork & prints, resin art vases and handmade light-up bottles — all created here in Northern Ireland, with varying levels of colour, sentimentality and bad language. 😂

So this is me shamelessly asking you to TAG THEM.
Know a wee shop near you? Tag them.
Know somebody who owns a café? Tag them.
Seen somewhere that sells local makers? Tag the life out of them.
I currently have some older stock in Causeway Craft & Coffee and that should be reorganised next week.

I have Alice, my viking warrior who is equipped with an almighty axe and a long boat full of backup. A Lioness and her 2 fierce cubs, an old and decrepit blue tiger that has as much tolerance for bu****it as I do, a trio of fairies who look sweet sat amongst the wildflowers but are specifically trained coming with an army of butterflies. I'm also equipped with an Anchor, a cross made with blades and a stock car coming at full speed. Oh and also me.
What do you think? I think I'm good 👍
