Waterstones Ballymena will be looking a little different this week as we undergo some changes in the shop 📚

We'll be open throughout the process, though some of our sections are moving to a different part of the shop, so if you need help finding anything please ask a member of staff who will be happy to help.

Thank you for being patient with us, and we look forward to showing you our new and improved shop!

Join us on Saturday 19th September at 12pm for a special storytime, in collaboration with Hachette Children’s Books’ Raising Readers literacy initiative.

We will be reading The Turtle who Turned The Tide by Rachel Bright and Jim Field. This is a heartwarming rhyming story of adventure and bravery, about how we all have the power to change things for the better.

Raising Readers: Books Build Bright Futures is Hachette Children’s Books Initiative, which raises awareness about the UK’s reading crisis and encourages all of us to make reading for enjoyment part of children’s daily lives. Find out more at www.raising readers.co.uk

Two of our bestsellers this summer are from Kristin Hannah.

On Mystic Lake is an emotional, moving and poignant story about love, loss and beginning again.

Summer Island is a poignant, warm and tender novel about a mother and daughter: the complex ties that bind them, the past that separates them, and the healing that comes with forgiveness.

Which one have you read?

Fresh reads, exciting discoveries, and a new staff favourite. 📚✨

Our Books of the Month are here, featuring everything from pulse-racing mysteries to literary classics, but Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil has completely stolen bookseller Kerry's heart. Dark and beautifully written, V.E Scwab's latest paperback is impossible to ignore.
