🥈 **P2 Overall – 2026 Irish Nitro National Championship!** 🏁

A great season of racing for Dylan, with the championship going right down to the final round at Navan Nitro Nuts!

Heading into the weekend leading the standings, there was still plenty to race for, with several drivers in contention for the title.

Brad had fantastic pace all weekend, but we kept working on the setup and Dylan put in a strong performance to win his semi-final and line up P3 for the main final.

The top three were battling closely in the opening laps, but unfortunately a flameout cost Dylan several laps and put an end to his challenge. That's nitro racing!

A well-deserved congratulations to Brad on taking the championship! 🏆👏

Really proud of Dylan's efforts throughout the season and delighted to finish P2 overall against some great competition.

A big thank you to RCCAOI, the host clubs, marshals and volunteers for another great championship! 👏

A brilliant weekend of 1/8 Nitro racing at Navan Nitro Nuts for RCCAOI Round 5 of the Irish Nitro Nationals! 🔥

Close racing, plenty of action and a few laughs along the way — exactly what a race weekend should be about!

Thanks to everyone at NNN and all the drivers, marshals and volunteers who made it happen. 👏

🏁 **PROJECT VIBE — PART 4 | Chasing Speed, Finding Balance!**

Another race day, another step forward with Dylan's Schumacher VIBE TC! 🔵🟡

This time we focused on springs, deliberately going softer and stiffer to understand how the car responded.

We found the limits! Too soft and the car was rolling excessively. For the final race, we stiffened things up and raised the roll centre — finding a much better balance, more consistent grip and a car that was easier to drive. 🔧

And Dylan's secret to going faster? Apparently, making coffee! ☕😂

Still learning, still developing, still chasing speed. That's what Project VIBE is all about!

🏁 PROJECT VIBE — PART 3 | Finding More Speed!

Dylan's first race at UMCC with the Schumacher VIBE TC! 🔥

Plenty of progress as we continue developing the setup — taller gearing, reduced droop and geometry changes to improve handling and rear grip.

We also tested a more aggressive bodyshell, but with the current suspension setup it generated too much steering and body roll, making the car difficult to drive and even causing grip roll!

A good reminder that more steering doesn't always mean faster laps. It's all about finding the right balance. 🏁

More testing, more learning and more to come from Project VIBE!

🏁 WINTER. CARPET. RACING.

The outdoor season might be winding down, but that doesn’t mean the racing has to stop.
Indoor carpet racing is a great way to keep racing through the winter — close competition, plenty of track time and a brilliant way to sharpen your driving and setup skills. And it doesn’t have to cost a fortune to get involved.

We’ve been doing exactly that with Project VIBE, taking the Schumacher VIBE TC, getting it on track and seeing just how quick we can make it. 🔧💨

🔧 SPARKO PROJECT — TRC TEST
DAY

Three TRC piston configurations, a box full of shocks
and a full race day to start figuring out what they
actually do on track. 🏁

The plan was simple — establish where the Sparko
was, work through the different piston configurations
and see what we could learn.

As always with testing, it wasn't quite as simple as
finding “the best one.” 👀
Some combinations gave more support, some worked
better over the bumps — and one rear configuration
definitely wasn't the best. 😂
We were also continuing to develop the Sparko setup
throughout the day, so there were plenty of changes
going on as the track dried and got faster.
By the Final we'd taken what we'd learned and ended
up mixing two of the TRC configurations front-to-rear.

🔧 PROJECT VIBE • PART 2

Build complete. Setup dialled in. Time to get it on track. 🏁

Straight into our first track session with the VIBE — nothing too serious yet, just getting some running in, making sure everything works smoothly, checking the build and getting our first proper feel for the car.

And of course… we couldn't resist making a few setup changes while we were there. 😂🔧

Some worked. One went a little too far. But by the end of the session we'd already found a direction that made the car more responsive without making it harder to drive.

That's what Project VIBE is really about — let's see just how quick we can make this thing. 👀💨

We'll keep sharing the setup changes, what works, what doesn't, and everything we learn along the way.
First runs complete. Now we make it faster. 🏁

🏁 That’s a wrap on the 2026 Irish 1/10 Nationals!

A great final round at DMCC to bring the 2026 series to a close.

Fantastic turnout again and some brilliant racing across all four classes — continuing what has been a really well-supported National series throughout the year. 🔥

Congratulations to all the winners, and well done to everyone who raced, whether you were fighting for the front, battling for position or simply enjoying a day of National-level racing. 👊

A big thank you to DMCC and everyone who helped put on a great final round and keep the meeting running throughout the day.

Great racing, great people and plenty of close battles all season.
