🔧 More TRC piston configurations to test at the next race day…

These will be going into the Sparko, along with a few other setups, to see what gains we can find on track.

We do love setup here at McBurney Racing — change it, get it on track, see what it does and try to go faster. 🏁

We’ll report back once we’ve put some laps on them. 👀

Strip down, deep clean, fresh bearings, conrod and piston pin — plus a bit of time bringing that exhaust back to life. ✨

Clean, rebuilt and ready to get dirty all over again.🔧🏁

🏆 A great day for Team McBurney Racing!

Round 4 of the 1/10 Irish National Championships at Navan Nitro Nuts delivered a fantastic day for the team — 3 class wins and 2 Irish Championships secured! 👊

Dylan took the win in both 2WD Modified with his Schumacher LD3 and 4WD Modified with the CAT PB. The 2WD result also secured the 2026 Irish 2WD Modified Championship! 🏆

A huge congratulations to Jack Black, taking the win in 4WD Clubman with his CAT PB and securing his first Irish Championship! 🏆

Jack has had some brilliant, close racing with young Adam Humphries throughout the Championship, so a big well done to Adam too. It's great to see the next generation of racers battling it out and enjoying some really competitive racing. 👏

A brilliant day for McBurney Racing and we're incredibly proud of both Dylan and Jack.

Dylan's Schumacher cars worked faultlessly all day, backed up by LRP electronics and Highest servos. A huge thank you to Schumacher R/C Racing, LRP GmbH and HIGHESTRC for their continued support. 🙌

And finally, a big thank you to everyone at Navan Nitro Nuts Rc Club, and all the organisers and volunteers who put in the work to give us another great Irish National meeting.

🏁 Race Weekend | Irish Nitro Nationals

Dry Saturday. Wet Sunday. And by the time the finals arrived… very wet! 🌧️

Close racing, changing conditions, screaming nitro engines and 45-minute finals — another brilliant weekend of 1/8 racing.

Sometimes you just can't beat the sound and atmosphere of Nitro racing! 🔥

🏆 P1 at Round 4 of the 1/8 Irish Nitro Nationals!

What a weekend of racing at BADMCC!

Saturday stayed dry and qualifying was incredibly close, but Sunday brought a completely different challenge, with damp and drying conditions keeping everyone guessing on tyre choice throughout the day.

By the time the 45-minute A Final started, the rain was back — and it only got heavier! 🌧️

Starting from 3rd, Dylan settled into a good rhythm behind the leaders, kept it clean and took his opportunities as they came. He eventually moved into the lead, built a gap and managed it all the way to the finish to take the win. 🏆

Great drive Dylan! 👊

There was some fantastic racing throughout the field too. Congratulations to Alan Scroggie and Paul Myles on 2nd and 3rd — with Alan producing possibly the pass of the day (maybe even the year!) to take 2nd right on the finish line by just 0.1 seconds! 😮

A great turnout for Round 4 and a big thank you to everyone involved in organising the weekend, preparing the track and facilities, and keeping us entertained with the commentary.

The SWORKz RC was fantastic all weekend and gave Dylan a predictable, easy-to-drive car even as the conditions changed. Highest servos, TRC pistons and LRP equipment all performed flawlessly throughout the weekend and a very wet 45-minute final.

🏁 Irish eBuggy Nationals 2026

What a fantastic days racing at the Irish eBuggy Nationals!

Firstly, congratulations to William on becoming the 2026 Irish eBuggy National Champion after some brilliant racing throughout the finals. Well deserved! 👏

It was also a great weekend for McBurney Racing.

🥉 Dylan fought for the overall win right through to the third leg of the A Final before securing an excellent 3rd Overall.

I was delighted to finish 4th Overall after some really close racing all day.

It was also fantastic to see the rest of the McBurney Racing team performing so well, with Keith Black winning the B Final and Jack Black taking 3rd in the B Final.

Weekends like this remind us what RC racing is all about—great competition, great people and plenty of laughs along the way. Thank you to the organisers, marshals and everyone who helped make it another brilliant Irish National event.
