Mavis and Flossy, one a beautiful Wendsleydale lamb the other a tough Herdwick and proud mother of three! I have the pleasure of both fleeces and invite you to make your own little version. Join me at Beads and Bows Penrith for an afternoon of mindful craft. Aimed at beginners to Needlefelting in a small friendly workshop, we work though various techniques to achieve your very own Lakeland sheep.

Living in a little village in the Peak District is never dull! This week it’s our Gala, a whole week of fun and games. This is my neighbours Scarecrow entry. The theme is Adverts. Sammy the dog is a puppet I made for our local players production for Goodnight Mr Tom and he will now face the indignity of being clipped by his owner who really should have gone to Specsavers!

Sometimes ideas seem good at the time but the reality is a bit of a challenge! I brought these wonderful dreadlocks from a vintage wool stall . Not sure of the breed but was assured they came from a Yorkshire sheep! Keep watching for updates!
