So I got a text - "A friend of mine is getting married and I'd love a crochet bride and groom for her - Would you be able to do that for me??" A photo was attached of the happy couple.
Well I love a challenge and this is what I came up with.
This was a couple of months ago - but I don't like posting things until the recipient has received their gift. But now the wedding has taken place and I was delighted to learn that the bride and groom were thrilled with their mini-me's!

👼Spent the last week making a special blanket for Belfast Giants No 9 Ben Lake to celebrate the safe arrival of Baby Heidi 🏒

Every stitch was made with love — a little Belfast Giants-inspired keepsake to welcome the newest tiny fan to the family. Wishing Ben, Gemma, and baby girl all the happiness in this exciting new chapter. 🍼✨

🩷Bobbi even designed the bag and waited patiently for the team to come out for warm up in order to give it to him at their last home game.

Hope this blanket brings lots of cosy cuddles after game nights and plenty of sweet memories ahead. Welcome to the world, little one!
