Unmovable deadline( I tried) for this 1.25m embroidery for a baby’s nursery of tomorrow when the mother is to be induced. Wishing them all the best. Plenty of lacing was needed to stretch it.

This is a very rare Bonad that were only made in south west Sweden and hung for the festive season and birthdays. The subject would usually be the lady of the house. This one is dated 1826 and the customer said it should be in a museum. We have mounted it on archival board and used museum glass that filters 99% UV light out and cuts the reflection by 85%. The frame is a lime waxed ash. It stands over 1.1 metre.

Framed 20 abstract photographs for Jane Stillwell that go on show with 7 other artists and craftspeople in a barn( love barns) in Stourton, tomorrow for the weekend.

First day Bluey and I haven’t seen any customers since June 16th.
Open for click and collect and deliveries from customers only, though.
Now better get on with the 150 frames on order.
