🧑‍⚖️MALE SENTENCED IN BANBURY 🧑‍⚖️

✅ Officers from the Banbury Neighbourhood Team, working alongside our partner agencies, have successfully secured a 2-year prison sentence for a repeat offender who continually breached a civil injunction on Taylor Close, Banbury.

🤝 This result is the culmination of significant partnership working, persistence, and the support of local residents who have been affected by ongoing anti-social behaviour.

🏡 This sentence brings a huge sense of relief to neighbours and the wider community who have endured the impact of this individual's actions for far too long.

⚖️ We hope this outcome reassures residents that reports of anti-social behaviour are taken seriously and that we will continue to pursue those who repeatedly cause harm, alarm, and distress within our communities.

Summer Patrols Across Banbury☀️👮‍♂️

Over the summer holidays, Banbury Neighbourhood Officers have been out visiting local shopping centres, the cinema and other community locations that can experience an increase in anti-social behaviour (ASB) during the school break.

Following concerns raised by staff and members of the public, we have increased patrols in these areas to provide reassurance, offer crime prevention advice and maintain a visible police presence🗣️

We are committed to working with businesses, partners and the community to ensure everyone can enjoy a safe summer💙

If you witness anti-social behaviour, please report it via 101 or online through the Thames Valley Police website. In an emergency, always call 999📱

Every report helps us build a picture of what is happening and allows us to target patrols where they are needed most.

Caroline, 66yrs old from Shilton Rd, Burford

We are unsure at this time what she was wearing.

We are concerned for her welfare and are asking anyone who may have seen Caroline or who has information about her whereabouts, to contact Thames Valley Police on 999 quoting reference - 43260403808.

We are also appealing for anyone with dash cam or Ring Doorbell footage that may have captured Caroline in the Shilton Road, A40 or High Street areas between 2am and 10.30am on Wednesday (5/8) to please call us or submit information via our website.

This Summer's community engagement continues for the Bicester Neighbourhood Policing Team. Being present at public events is a great opportunity to discuss concerns that may not have previously been reported, as well as being able to respond to any issues on scene.

Police Officers and PCSOs from the team recently took time away from their usual duties to attend two family events recently: Bicester Play and Activity Day in Spider Park 🕷️ , and earlier today, the Teddy Bears' Picnic 🧸 in Garth Park. It was great to meet so many of you.

👀Were you in Tesco Express on Bowmont Square, Bicester on Friday?

⌚At around 10.27pm a man entered the store and approached the till with a box-cutter knife and demanded the cashier open the till.

The offender took cash from two tills before fleeing in an unknown direction.

No one sustained injuries in the incident.

🖼️The offender is described as a white man with pale skin and a black scruffy beard and around 5ft 9ins tall.

🧥He was wearing a black puffer jacket with the hood up, long grey jogging bottoms, and white socks with no shoes. He had a local accent.

👮🏻‍♀️We are appealing for specific witnesses who were in the area at the time of the incident, to get in touch.

🧍🏻There were two people in the queue at the till, at the time of the incident.

➡️A man described as white, with short brown hair and wearing a red and blue sports jacket.
➡️Behind him was a woman, described as in her fifties, around 6ft tall and wearing a grey sweater.
➡️There were also two younger girls in the store who checked on the victim after the incident.

We are appealing for the public’s help to find a man with links to Banbury who is wanted on recall to prison.

Amir Taseem, aged 30, is wanted on recall to prison for breaching his licence conditions on 21 April.

Taseem is around 5ft 8ins tall, of medium build, and is known to frequent Banbury, Birmingham and Coventry.

🚨 Witness and dashcam appeal following serious injury collision on the A40 near Oxford.

We're appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a serious collision involving a blue Kia Sportage (partial reg RJ73 ***) and a white Nissan tipper truck (partial reg BX19 ***) on the A40 between Wolvercote and Cassington at around 4.20pm yesterday.

Three people sustained serious injuries and remain in hospital.

We're particularly keen to hear from anyone who saw either vehicle during the day before the collision, especially in the West Oxfordshire, Oxford or Kidlington areas.

If you have dashcam footage showing either vehicle at any point before the collision, witnessed the incident itself, or captured the moments leading up to it, please contact us.

🚨 BICESTER NEIGHBOURHOOD TEAM🚨
Not the sort of "holiday packing" we expect to see in Bicester... 🧐

Officers from the Neighbourhood Team attended an incident in Bicester after a 27-year-old man collapsed as he was leaving a local bed and breakfast.
Our colleagues from South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS) quickly provided medical attention and ensured he was stable. While at the scene, officers' attention was drawn to a large rucksack and two shopping bags the man had dropped.

Inside wasn't the usual holiday essentials. Instead, officers discovered a significant quantity of suspected illegal drugs...
The man was subsequently arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply, and the drugs were seized.
