We’re stopping in Banchory this Saturday with the cheesecake van for two quick 30-minute stops.

We’ll have a good mix of our mini cheesecakes with us. No need to pre-order — just come along to the van.

We’re only at each stop for 30 minutes, so make a note of the time and come say hi.

A little update to our Banchory opening hours 🤍

From this week, we’ll be open:

Sunday: Closed
Monday: Closed
Tuesday–Friday: 11am–4pm
Saturday: 10am–5pm

We’ve been keeping an eye on when you lovely lot actually like to shop with us, so we’re changing our hours to suit and concentrating on the times when Banchory is at its busiest.

Same lovely shop, same new arrivals, same welcome, just slightly fewer hours spent standing behind the counter wondering where everybody is. 😂

🎃🌾 CALLING ALL ABERDEENSHIRE SCHOOLS, CLUBS & GROUPS! 🌾🎃

We need YOUR help to fill our Trick or Trot Halloween Trail with SCARECROWS! 👻🐴

This Halloween, we’re inviting local schools, nurseries, clubs, youth groups and community groups to get creative and design & make your very own scarecrow to be displayed along our Trick or Trot Trail at Lochside Clydesdales! 🎃

Funny, spooky, horsey, colourful, traditional or completely bonkers — we want to see what you can come up with! 🌾👻

🌾 NEED STRAW? WE CAN HELP!
We’re happy to provide straw for your scarecrow free of charge. If you’re within 5 miles of Lochside Clydesdales, we can arrange to drop it off. If you’re further than 5miles away, we just ask that you come and collect it from us.

🏆 AND THERE’S A FANTASTIC PRIZE FOR THE WINNERS!

The winning class or group will be invited to Lochside Clydesdales for their very own FREE private visit, including:

🐴 A private Clydesdale carriage ride
🐴 A tour of Lochside Clydesdales
🐴 Meet our magnificent Clydesdale horses

The visit will take place on another date arranged with the winning school, club or group.

We’d LOVE to have scarecrows created by children from all across Aberdeenshire lining our trail this Halloween! 🧡

🏃 Only 2 weeks to go until the PIM Running Festival at Crathes Castle!

We’re getting busy behind the scenes preparing for the big day, and there’s still time to sign up and join us at the start line!

Whether you’re taking on the 1.5K, 5K or Half Marathon, it’s set to be a brilliant day of running in the beautiful surroundings of Crathes Castle.

Not planning to race? We’d also love to hear from anyone who would like to join our volunteer team and help us make the event happen. It’s a great way to be part of the atmosphere, support the National Trust for Scotland and cheer on our runners.

Guys, could you save a life? Most of us wouldn't have a clue where to start if someone collapsed in front of us - this is your chance to change that.

Banchory and District Round Table has teamed up with Banchory Area First Responders for a relaxed, hands-on evening for guys aged 18-45 covering the stuff that really matters: CPR, using a defibrillator, and what to do if someone's choking.

No experience needed and no pressure - just practical skills, a resus dummy to practise on, a defib to get hands-on with, and a bit of friendly competition to see who's got the knack.

📍 Centenary Hall, Banchory West Church (up Mount Street, opposite the Burnett Hotel car park)
💷 Free to attend - donations to Banchory Area First Responders welcome

Open to all guys in the community aged 18-45 - Table members and non-members alike. We'll head to the pub for a drink afterwards, so come along, learn something that could genuinely save a life, and stay for a chat. 👊
