Congratulations to the team at TwinPeakes Fly Fishing, which took home the Innovation in Tourism Award at the Aberdeen City & Shire Thistle Awards 2026 this weekend.

The award caps off a busy few weeks for the team, who recently added Hooké, Canada's original fly fishing and outdoor apparel brand, to their shop at Milton of Crathes.

Well done to everyone involved on this fantastic achievement.

🚗 A gentle reminder for anyone planning to visit Milton of Crathes this weekend.🚗

With North East Open Studios starting, lots of fantastic businesses to visit across the courtyard and other local events, we expect the area to be a little busier than usual. To help accommodate everyone, the Events Field will be open as an overflow parking area and will be clearly signposted on arrival.

Please be respectful of fellow visitors, follow any signage and directions from staff, and take extra care around the site.

After such a brilliant response to our Cream Tea Specials this year, we thought long and hard and decided to add ONE FINAL DATE and that last Cream Tea takes place this Sunday 30/08/2026.

We now have limited spaces remaining on our 3pm service, with the best availability at 11am if you fancy starting the day with an early Cream Tea.

This really is your last chance to enjoy one of our Cream Tea experiences this year. Once Sunday is over, you’ll have to wait until 2027 to get your next Cream Tea fix! 😬
