I am delighted to have some of my paintings accepted to the Grassic Gibbon Centre & Cafe's annual Arbuthnott Art Exhibition this year, which starts today!

This is a great exhibition which showcases some wonderful local talent. Well worth a visit if you have the chance. The exhibition is open everyday throughout July. The cafe is excellent too! The landscape in the Mearns is quite breathtaking just now with wide vistas of ripening colourful crops.

I had a very enjoyable painting holiday recently at Finca del Nino in Andalucia, a lovely part of Spain. Great company, wonderful authentic Spanish food and lots of laughter with other like minded artists.

Introducing Milly!

I have had Milly for around 8 years. I rescued her from Romania, she was found behind some bins when she was around a week old (no mother or siblings to be found). She was taken to a rescue centre and 4 months later she arrived in the UK.

She is very sweet and very much rules the roost here!
