Morning folks

Apologies this isn't my usual kind of post.

We have been super busy this year both buying and selling. As many of you are aware we source most of our stock locally from the general public. Iain and I deal with 100's of enquiries every month and I spend 10+ hours a week pricing and preparing quotes.

Unfortunately the system we currently operate for buying USED sets isn't working anymore. Whilst we love giving used sets a new home, we work on a trust basis that sets are complete and while we check minifigures and printed parts when sets come in we don't have time to check the full set especially when the store is open. Too often recently when processing sets, we've found substitute/missing/fake or damaged parts hidden in the build.

As a small business we operate on tight margins. If we don't have a part in stock we have to order it which wipes out any margin.

Due to this, unless previously agreed, we won't be buying anymore USED sets until we work out a better system. Selling NEW SEALED sets is unaffected. As always please contact us before bringing anything down.
