UPDATE electric now back. Just restarting our systems.

Morning, there's currently a power cut to several properties our end of the village. The shop is open as normal but the Post Office can't operate without power. We've been told it's probably until about midday. We will update you once our Post Office is available again.

We've had a bit of a makeover at Banham Stores, bringing you a brighter and more spacious shop! We've expanded our cards, gifts and homeware offerings. We are of course still offering the usual great selection of quality local meats, frozen fish, honey, bakeries, ales and ciders...and our great Post Office too. Come along and see us soon! 😊😎

Post Office/Shop Assistant Vacancy

We are seeking an individual to assist us at Banham Post Office and Stores. The position will involve serving customers in our busy Post Office and the possibility of assisting in the shop. Hours will be part-time (around 25 hours), and there will be some weekend work involved and occasional holiday cover.
The suitable candidate must have strong numeracy skills, be friendly and versatile, able to work accurately under pressure, and have excellent customer service skills. Applicants must be over 18 years of age.
This position would ideally suit somebody with previous Post Office /retail experience, although training can be provided. Hours and pay rates are negotiable.
