Oriel Gallery Previously a well known gallery on Barmouth’s High Street owned by Valerie McArdell. Most of the pieces featured are exclusive to Oriel.

Now an on-line only presence here on fb where you can still message and order prints from Alex, Kevin or Valerie McArdell depending on your preferred style. Our light and spacious gallery is in the High Street of the popular Welsh seaside town of Barmouth, just south of the Heritage site of Harlech Castle. We design, paint, print and photograph many of them ourselves. Coasters, placemats and cards

all show our own designs. Valerie’s dual styles of painting provide a collection of images which are modern and colourful. Janet Bell, our daughter-in-law, also has a wide range of printed images available through Oriel. She also keeps us busy producing fine art prints and framing for her successful gallery and home shop in Beaumaris. Our framing workshop is on the premises so we are usually able to respond to urgent requests, subject to work in hand. Ginny ensures that the workshop is running smoothly and together with Kate, Nicky and Julie we are happy to help with most framing requests.

Though our website is now closed, Oriel Gallery (or rather Valerie) is now able to provide some of our most popular prints which can be ordered here through our fb page. The selection of prints by Alex, Kevin and myself can be viewed under 'Photos' in our individual Albums. More pictures will be uploaded shortly.
