We’ve had a little tidy up in the tea and coffee department, and jigged things around a bit. Did you know we have 14 blends of tea and infusions, 11 roasts of coffee bean and 4 types of hot chocolate?

New additions to the range are the deliciously refreshing Ceylon tea, and the flavourful single origin fairtrade coffee beans from Honduras (which I’ve been enjoying at home for the last week or so). A lively, sweet coffee, with chocolate, vanilla, red fruit and smokey notes.

Bad news, I’m afraid. We’ve added new flavours to the Chocolate Cabinet over the weekend! How are you going to choose which chocolates you like now?!! 🤷‍♀️ Did we mention that they’re also on our website? Just go to the Choose Your Own section. Yes - we like to look after our customers outside of the Barnard Castle area too! 🥰

Tasters Club is looking b exceedingly chocolatey this month! There’s all sorts of new and delightful flavours in this selection, including a Dark Chocolate Baileys Truffle, a Maple & Pecan, a Mint Cocoa Dusted Truffle, an Apricot Frangipane, a Coffee Caramel Triangle, and a Chilli Pepper Truffle to create a little summer heat, to just some.

Have you tried our iced chocolates yet? Just like our ludicrously popular hot chocolates, we make these with pure chocolate, melted into a little steamed milk, then served with cold milk over ice. Ideal for enjoying in the tranquil sun-trap of our Secret Garden, in the air conditioned cool of the Coffee Lounge, or as a takeaway to sip on the go. Available in Blonde, Sweet, Dark or Extra Dark chocolate versions. Have it how you like it!

If you are visiting the town this weekend, the brand new Barnard Castle town maps are now available from many of the shops, cafes and pubs in town, including from Chocolate Fayre, helping to guide you through what’s on offer and what’s to see and do.
