We couldn't forget about our furry friends at home, so created a biscuit bar with little treat bags for our guests to take home to their four legged friends. A repurposed Ikea chopping board was used for the sign, and personalised stickers created for the dog and cat biscuits.

The personalised touches continued throughout the day with vinyl labels added to wooden tags for place names, white vinyl used on a stained peice of wood for our order of the day and labels made for our handmade sweet table.

We weren't sure what we wanted to give our guests as favours - we knew we wanted to make it something fun that wouldn't just be forgotten about.

We handmade a presentation stand and personalised 150 (yes 150!) pairs of sunglasses which were a hit with our guests right from the start of our reception when the sun shone through to the party in the evening where they looked great on the dancefloor!

The groomsmen kicked off their preparations with personalised gift boxes, each containing a pair of sunglasses, black socks (this was great as it also made sure they matched!), bottle opener, and tie.

Each tie had a photo of the groom and his groomsmen hidden inside as an extra special momento.

We also personalised a hanger each. We hired our suits so this was also a really practical way of telling each suit apart!

A little life update!

Back in April I got to marry my best friend and gain a new surname! I loved getting creative planning our own wedding, so will share some inspiration for newly engaged couples who are looking for bespoke items for their special day 💍
