FROM THE ORIGINAL GREEN FIELDS TO RUSTIQUE HQ!

Why buy a generic, flat-pack canvas print when you can own a genuine slice of British festival history?

Fresh onto the shop floor here at Rustique HQ on Rainhall Road, we have an absolute stunner for the music lovers, historians, and bohemian souls: an Original Vintage Tibetan Buddhist Wheel of Life (Bhavachakra) Print.

Before you ask—no, it doesn't say "Glastonbury 1971" on it.
Back then, they were far too busy manifesting good vibes to worry about corporate branding.
However, this massive statement piece (measuring a grand 31" x 20.5" and 35”x26” in the frame) was brought back firsthand by a local attendee who was right there in the mud for the legendary first three years:
• The inaugural 1970 Pilton Blues Fest.
• The historic 1971 Glastonbury Fayre.
• The 1972 gathering.

The Nitty-Gritty:
The Medium ~ A gorgeous, striking black-and-white woodblock or screen print.
The Paper ~ Printed on traditional, lightweight Himalayan style handmade paper featuring beautiful, organic 'wavy' deckled edges.
The Story ~ It represents the endless cosmic cycle of life, death, and cosmic karma—essentially a 1970s festival itinerary, minus the cider!

The Proof: Brought back to Barlick by an old friend of mine who attended the festivals. Currently putting a C.o.A together.

Whether you want to bring some vintage counterculture to your living room or just want a striking conversation starter that survived the apex of the hippie movement, this is second-hand at its absolute best.

Pop into the shop to study the textures and natural patina for yourself—photos just don’t do this survivor justice!

Say hello to this beautiful, entirely hand-painted tribute to Wes Wilson’s legendary 1966 Bill Graham Fillmore concert poster (BG-3), featuring Jefferson Airplane and the Paul Butterfield Blues Band.
This isn't a cheap, mass-produced digital print. Believed to be 40-50 years old and originating from the Edinburgh art scene, you can actually see the original pencil alignment marks and sketch lines underneath the paint where the artist painstakingly mapped out that iconic psychedelic lettering by hand.
It’s an absolute showstopper, framed under Perspex and ready to hang.

Available from Rustique HQ We Have A Vintage 1930s Brass "Duplex" Gas Street Light Clockwork Timer Controller – Metropolitan Gas Meters Ltd

Beautifully preserved, vintage clockwork street lighting controller, manufactured under license as "The Duplex" Gas Lighter and Extinguisher.

This fascinating piece of industrial history was made by Metropolitan Gas Meters Ltd. at their Hyson Green Works in Nottingham & London, dating roughly to the 1930s/940s.
Before electric grids took over, these clockwork units sat inside gas street lamps to automatically turn the gas valves on and off at set times.

* Interior: Removing the slip-on back cover reveals a stunning, clean 24-hour setting dial divided into A.M. and P.M. / NIGHT sections, complete with its original mechanical timing adjusters and square winding arbor.
* Status: Untested mechanically, but visually an exceptional display item for horology collectors, industrial design enthusiasts, steampunk decor or use as a paperweight!

** SOLD **

Available from Rustique HQ we have a vintage 1980s Charrington Toby Bitter Pub Bar Pump Figure (Wade Ceramic).

Bring a proper piece of British pub history into your home bar or man cave!
This authentic 1980s Wade ceramic bar topper features the legendary Toby Bitter mascot in his iconic red coat, proudly holding his sign.

Standing on a sturdy wooden plinth, he’s spent decades in the pub trade and is now ready for a quieter retirement on your shelf.

Condition: Brilliant vibrant colours, classic Wade pottery craftsmanship, and maximum vintage British charm.
He’s survived a few late nights! There are a few small chips here and there and a bit of characterful paint wear too.
The front "Charrington" plaque has a few scratches also(all visible in the photos).
He’s missing his original pump mechanics, meaning he is purely decorative—and much easier to clean.

Flip him around and you'll spot the original red handwritten inventory/factory marks inside the hollow back.

Perfect for breweriana collectors, pub sheds, or anyone who appreciates a nostalgic pint.
