Sparkles Ladies Group Returns After Winter Break

The Sparkles Ladies Group is set to resume its regular meetings following the winter break, welcoming both returning and new members to join in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

The group meets every Wednesday morning at 10.30am at Birdwell Methodist Church. With a weekly subscription of £3, members enjoy unlimited tea or coffee and biscuits throughout the morning, along with popular activities including Bingo and a raffle.

Organisers say the coming months promise plenty to look forward to, with plans for guest speakers and entertainment, as well as a monthly chair exercise session with Susie, designed to keep members active and engaged.

The Sparkles ladies also enjoy getting out and about. Their next planned outing is an Easter lunch at the Burntwood Hotel, followed later in the year by a traditional seaside trip, alongside smaller excursions suggested by members.

New faces are always welcome, and the group encourages anyone looking to make friends, socialise, and enjoy a few laughs to come along and give it a try.
