Fantastic Quiz Night hosted by our very own Royal Devon Hospitals Charity Fern Centre at the Gold Club in Westward Ho last night. Super proud of our fabulous team from the Royal Devon Hospitals Charity Shops. We had a great night and helped to raise those extra funds for the Fern Centre. Well done everyone 🕺🕺🕺 💙

MANAGER’s SPECIAL BUY!!

If you’re a collector of Jelly Cats then you’ll want to adopt one or both of these little beauties!!!

We’ve been lucky to have received not 1 but 2 ‘RETIRED - MINDY MOUSE’ plush toys approx 10” from toe to head.

These gorgeous little ones are in mint condition, complete with their Jelly Cat labels.

They have been researched and currently found to be selling online for up to £149 each.

We are selling them for £65 each or both for £120.00. All profits from our Charity Shops go straight into the local NHS services such as our Royal Devon Hospitals Charity Fern Centre.

These babies are cure residing in our Royal Devon Hospitals Charity Shop in Westward Ho, but can be re-located to the Barnstaple Shop for collection.

North Devon Show is just one month today and we’re looking for quality handmade gifts to sell on our stand in the craft tent.

If you're able to donate any handcrafted items with a rural, countryside or animal-inspired theme, we'd be delighted to hear from you. Some ideas include:

🪵 Wooden chopping boards, serving boards and handcrafted wooden gifts
🏺 Handmade pottery, ceramics, bowls, mugs and serving dishes
🐄 Animal-inspired ornaments and countryside-themed home décor
🕯️ Handmade candles and wax melts
🧶 Knitted, crocheted or sewn gifts and homeware
🖼️ Artwork, prints and illustrations celebrating rural life and wildlife
🐑 Felted, woven or textile crafts
🎁 Any other unique handmade gifts that capture the charm of the countryside

Every donation will help enhance NHS care and we'd be incredibly grateful for your generosity.

Yep, it’s a scorcher this week by all accounts, so take precautions and stay cool & well hydrated. We will be operating and shortened opening hours in the Royal Devon Hospitals Charity Shops. 10am - 3pm’ish’ with a little wiggle room each side. We have also had to put a hold on receiving new donations of preloved goods this week. The welfare of our more vulnerable volunteers is our priority.
