🚨 ROAD CLOSURE INFORMATION! 🚨

After multiple phone calls during the recent weeks regarding this misleading sign off Bideford Roundabout, I would like to clarify some things…

In simple terms:

✅ FREMINGTON IS OPEN & ACCESSIBLE as normal… from Bideford!

Please ignore these signs unless travelling to ‘Barnstaple!’ ONLY take the diversion if you need to travel to BARNSTAPLE!

The Road Closed sign in Bideford should come with a WARNING - ‘CLOSED IN 6.2 MILES’ becuase that’s the distance you will travel until you come to Bickington, where the closure is in force! 🤨

Yes, in 6.2 miles until the road is closed off, past Fremington Quay junction, into Bickington - Madness!

In other words: you can still visit The Fox & the rest of Fremington without any problems!

Please don’t be put off by all the terrifying signs! If anything the roads are quieter & simply more pleasant to drive during the closure period! 🫣

If you wish to visit us from Barnstaple, please take the link road around, or go through roundswell & drop down to us off the Old Bideford Road! 🚗
