B2B Customer Sales Administrator

Job Location: Shirwell near Barnstaple, moving to South Molton.
Job Type: Permanent.
Salary: Up to £28,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Hours: 40hrs per week – Monday-Friday, 8.30am-5pm.

We are looking to recruit an experienced B2B Customer Sales Administrator to join our thriving distribution business in Barnstaple. In Autumn 2025 we are moving to purpose-built warehouse and office facilities in South Molton, so you must be able to drive.

Working in a friendly team of 7, you will look after around 20 long-standing customers and their projects. We support installers and specifiers of renewable heating systems with design, specification and market leading products. This is a busy role that will see you providing excellent customer service, providing quotations, processing orders, communicating with other departments and ensuring projects are running smoothly.

The successful applicant must have a friendly, positive attitude, a professional, smart appearance, and a desire to deliver excellent customer service.
Applicants must hold a clean full UK driving licence for a minimum of 3 years, be physically fit and comfortable driving a Luton 3.5T van.

You will be responsible for delivering a range of renewable energy products to customers across the South West region with occasional deliveries further afield. You could be doing up to 3 drops a day and there will be some manual handling involved. Ability to drive a forklift is desirable but not essential.
Please Note: This job involves heavy lifting. A full CRB check will need to be completed prior to permanent employment.

This position is a full-time permanent role, entailing a minimum 40 hours, 5 day week, Monday- Friday.

Duties
You’re responsible for delivering key components on behalf of our most valuable business customers across the UK but pre-dominantly in the South West. They are depending on you to turn up on time so that they can install renewable products on time. From loading up at our warehouse in Barnstaple, fueling and checking the van for the next route, or giving a customer a call so they know what time you are scheduled to arrive you will make sure our products reach their destination on time.

When you are not driving, you will be assisting with stock and warehouse management at our base in Barnstaple.
